More Cookies!

The next cookie I tried was the SNOWBALL.  It was my first time trying the recipe and they came out scrumptious.  They have a chocolatey almond taste and a little crunch from the nuts.

The Sugar:
*Chocolate dough with almond pieces
*Hershey kiss inside
*Powdered sugar outside

The Snapshots:

Roll the dough into balls

Voila!

THE SUGAR:
*ITALIAN KNOTS:
*These are cookies I remember my grandma making at Christmas time.  I never really liked them as a kid, but last year at a cookie swap I tried them and loved the taste!  They are chewy and soft with a light almond taste...and the  frosting is not too sweet.  The recipe makes TONS of cookies...as you will see! I just love the way they turn out.

Christmas Baking

Finally...I have some time from the craziness of winter break to update!  And....winter break was awesome! After 3 days and countless hours of baking....things came together nicely...and everyone got their tins filled with a variety of sweets. Here are some pictures:

The Sugar:
*Martha Stewart's Chewy Ginger Molasses Cookies

-SO YUMMY! It took forever to make the dough, but it was worth it.  If you don't like making cookies from scratch I wouldn't recommend  this recipe. It yields about 60-70 cookies if you make them small (and they don't rise much).

The Snapshots:

MMMMMMMMM!

TA DA! And they stay chewy too!
